If you already have some components, send us your list and we'll check everything for you. Here is an example of how we approach mixed-part builds:
- We review your motherboard and CPU to ensure the chipset and socket match.
- We advise on value upgrades – e.g. choosing a Ryzen 7 9700X over a 9600X if it offers better bang for buck.
- If a newer GPU like the RTX 5070 is similar in price to a 4070 Super, we suggest the newer model.
- 750W PSUs are usually fine, though extra headroom can improve longevity.
- For RAM, starting with 2x16GB DDR5 is a great base and you can swap to 64GB later.
- We recommend a 500GB NVMe SSD for Windows plus additional 2–4TB NVMe drives for projects and games.
- Switching to DDR4 would require an older motherboard (AM4/B550), which limits future upgrades.
