Count the screens and name the simulator

A racing PC enquiry should name the simulator and the display arrangement together. Include iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione or your other titles, typical grid sizes and the settings that matter to you. Advice based on a different simulator may not describe your workload.

For a single display, send its resolution and refresh target. For triples, list all three monitor models and how you plan to connect them. For VR, send the headset model and runtime. If you intend to switch between screens and VR, include both.

Compare display pixels without treating them as a benchmark

Three 2560 × 1440 displays contain 11,059,200 display pixels in total. One 3840 × 2160 display contains 8,294,400. These counts help explain why three screens should not be treated as a single 1440p monitor when discussing a specification.

Pixel count is not a frame-rate calculation. The simulator, view settings and rendering features also matter. VR introduces its own render settings, so headset panel numbers should not be used as a direct benchmark against a monitor setup.

Check the connections before choosing parts

The proposed GPU needs appropriate outputs for the intended displays. List the monitor connection requirements and include any headset that also needs a direct display connection. We review the combination rather than assuming every available socket can serve the same purpose.

Send a list of the wheelbase, pedals, shifter and other USB devices you use. These peripherals are not included, but their connections help guide the motherboard and case discussion.

Choose an experience and a PC budget

If you have not decided between triples and VR, say so. We can discuss the hardware requirements for your shortlisted equipment before confirming parts. A PC quote does not include the screens, headset, controls, cockpit or on-site installation.

The starting specifications in the store are examples for a conversation. The final quote identifies your PC components, operating system, delivery and price; an enquiry does not reserve components or lock supplier pricing.
