Start with the headset and the game

A VR PC specification starts with the equipment you intend to use. Send the exact headset model, the games you play and whether you also use racing or flight simulators. A general VR-ready label cannot describe every combination of headset, runtime and software.

Check the headset manufacturer's connection and system requirements for the model you own. Include the connection method in your enquiry so the proposed graphics card outputs and motherboard connections can be reviewed together. A connector's shape alone does not establish compatibility.

Resolution and refresh are separate choices

The headset's panel specification is only part of the picture. Your runtime and game settings also determine what the PC renders. Record your current render settings, or tell us that you need advice if you are choosing your first headset.

Refresh rate describes a display target; it does not promise that every game will produce matching frame rates. When comparing performance advice, look for the named game, headset, render settings and tested hardware. We discuss your target when preparing a quote rather than promising one result across all VR software.

Plan the rest of the PC around the workload

CPU, graphics, memory, storage, cooling and power need to be considered as a system. Include add-ons, background applications and any simulator you want to use. An expensive GPU alone does not establish how the complete setup will behave.

Mention desk space and your preference for lighting or quieter operation. These guide case and cooling choices; they are not a promise of silent operation. Final case and component choices are listed in the quote.

What to send with a VR PC enquiry

Include your headset model, games and simulators, current or intended render settings, refresh target and PC-only budget. If you do not know those settings, describe the experience you want and choose I need advice.

We quote the PC build. Headsets, controllers, paid applications, subscriptions and software configuration are excluded. The quote confirms the components, operating system, total and expected timing before an invoice is issued.
